The cave is one of the smaller caves, but it is richly ornamented with dripstones, magical sintric ponds and small dams. Its spacious entrance had been known for a long time, but the area with dripstone decorations was discovered in 1922. The cave became accessible in 1928. Electric lighting was installed in 1954. The cave was created by the underground water of the White Vah river. In ancient times, the cave was inhabited by bears. These bears reached a height of 3m and weighed 800-900kg.
