Situated in a beautiful environment in the neighbourhood of Bojnice Castle.
Parking is next to the entrance.
The area is sloping, forested, with open meadows.
Refreshment stands, a children's playground, zoo school and the possibility to purchase souvenirs and watching the training of elephants are available in the area.

The ZOO has 286 types of wildlife, 4120 individuals.

Annually, there are 400,000 to 500,000 visitors at the zoo.
There are 210 mammals of 52 types, 386 birds of 115 types, 91 reptiles of 33 types, 20 amphibians of 2 types, 2046 fish of 72 types, 50 invertebrates of 15 types.

Interesting exhibitions are the Ape Pavillion, Elephant Pavillion, Aquarium and Terrarium.
