Hermagor is a district in the Austrian region Carinthia. It has area of 808 km2, approximately 20 thousand inhabitants and its seat is the city Hermagor-Pressegger See. The ski centre Nassfeld Hermagor in Carinthian Alps is situated on an anticlinal between Austrian Gailtali and Italian Kanaltali. Mountains Gartnerkofel, Roßkofel and Trogkofel form the surroundings of the centre. The ski centre Nassfeld Hermagor is situated directly on the top of the saddle and is considered to be the biggest ski area of Carinthia.
