Semmering is a village in Austria in county Lower Austria, district Neunkirchen. It has a little over 600 inhabitants. The village is situated in the area of the Semmering pass on the express road S6, which is passable since 2004 after the tunnel was finished. The Semmering railway also passes through the village.
