Zvon hotel is a large hotel complex with all its advatages and drawbacks. But in general we were satisfied, the hotel itself as a 4-star facility has a lot to offer. However, there is something to be improved, especially concerning the restaurant and the offer of the meals. The opening hours were sometimes different from as it was stated. Maybe it was because it was off-season time. In our opinion, the meals should be more varied. What we missed a little was a bar in the hotel where the guests could have something to drink, although there was a café available in the hotel. But we must say that we were very satisfied with the services of the Sunflowers agency. Everything was easy to book and its websites are really helpful. Thanks a lot.

The personell at Nove Lazne is not very language proficient, they only speak tsjeck and Russian, and a little German. The food, although plentiful was not very well prepared, too fat and too much oriented towards an East European clientel. Better personell at the kitchen would have helped. The atmosphere of the hotel was excellent. The medical quality and language capacity of the doctor was very poor. The room service only just adequate and not good enough for a five star hotel. Altogether it should have been a four star hotel, but we will come back.

My biggest problem was my inability to communicate in English, especially to kitchen staff. My knowledge of Russian and German is not adequate. I requested in advance a vegan diet (vegetarian plus no dairy products). The restaurant was completely ignorant of my needs and quite rude. I was told that no tofu (soya) products are available, and I find this very difficult to believe. I lost two kilos without even trying, because I didn't have enough to eat. If these dietary choices are offered in the booking materials, then they should be available to the guests when they arrive, otherwise this is deceptive advertising. As far as the treatments are concerned, these were quite professional, and the language barrier was not too much of an obstacle. The reception desk at Hvesda-Skalnik was not always friendly, and would say no to most requests. I think this was because they were so unsure of their ability to communicate in English, and not because they were rude. Some were quite lovely, and the doctor, P. N., was fluent in English and very helpful. One of the nurses was positively evil, another was kind. One attendant at the Aqua Centre was extremely unfriendly, another was silent but quite professional. If you want to attract English-speaking guests, you must learn to be receptive to their needs and habits, which are different from those of Germans and especially Russians. The hotel is beautiful, but the furnishings and decorations are cheap and unattractive. The cleaning staff is very professional, and the hotel and treatment areas, although not beautiful, are very well maintained. The new Aqua Centre is marvelous, and far superior to the facilities at other hotels in the area.

We agree, there are differences between the needs and habits of clients from different countries. As every country has its own language (or almost everyone ;) ), they also have own habits and needs. Hotel, that wants to treat clients from foreign countries, should be sentient to it. Although you had these problems at your stay, we do hope, your stay did fill up its intention to take breath and relax a little and that you also have some nice memories to remember. Allow me to declare. The biggest problem in our hotel is the knowledge of english language, exactly as the client says. Our employees mostly speek russian or german language. This experience proved, that we need to force english lessons. On the other hand – the client was satisfied with accomodation, treatments, aqua center, just the vegan diet was not satisfying. We offered vegetarian menu card to the client, she crossed out all milk products and made her dining plan by herself. Everything was messed extra for her, according to her schedule. We are feeling very sorry, but we really have tried to prepare everything to her satisfaction. We interprete it as a effect of the language barrier. One more time thank you for sended comments. Dinner in Hotel Palace did not correspond with a 4* hotel, many wishes remained unfulfiled. The dining room is definitely too small and unwelcoming. The restaurant was closed most of the time so we couldn't even sit down for a coffee in our hotel. Mariánské Lázně on its own is very nice. I hope that I helped you with my comments. We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Nove Lazne and we loved the pools!!! It was lovely. The only disappointment was my husband's partial body massage. He is used to deep tissue massages and he felt that the massage he received at the hotel was more like an "oil wipe-down". He thought it would be a bit more vigorous and would last longer than 15 min. We are very happy with the service we received from sunflowers and our vacation was wonderful. Thanks!

Positive: precision of curative treatments. Quiet in hotel. Availability of staff and of the reception desk. Friendliness of the therapists. Negative: a little more communication with therapists and with the hotel staff is wished. More diversity of dinner is needed. More animation in the evening: music, amusement,... The stay was in spite of these a success for soul and body. Thank you.
