The city of Budapest was created by fusion of three towns – Buda, Old Buda and Pest in the year 1873. The city was already at that time the main centre, around which Hungarian culture and society centred, and it gradually only strengthened its position.One of the biggest spa towns in the world, Budapest, the centre of Hungarian life, place, in which two million people are centred. Budapest is an old distinguished lay, through which the river Danube flows; it is a place full of small quiet corners and strange little islands.

Budapest has thirty thermal springs, what is probably the biggest number in the world. There are around 130 springs in Hungary. That is also the reason why Budapest is nicknamed the Mecca of Rheumatics.
People have been coming to this area for treatment already two thousands years ago, because springs had healing effects on various diseases. The best in my stay was combination of spa-treatments and active fitness especially jogging. They have special running track around the island health-giving for joints of your body. The hotel's good location, affable stuff, variety of pleasant treatments, swimming-pools with thermal and ordinary water, jacuzzi, saunas make your rest successful. |
