Bükfürdő can proud itself with hot healing springs with high content of iron, magnesium, calcium and hydrogen carbonates.A lowland, rich in thermal springs. Bükfürdő is the youngest spa town in Hungary and belongs among the most visited with its healing springs, which achieve the temperature of 56°C. Despite its young age, the spa Bükfürdő is growing fast. Bükfürdő, which lies in the north-western Hungary, 220 km far from Budapest, near to the Austrian border, is very frequented and desired place for relax and recreation for visitors not only from neighbouring states.
Bükfürdő can proud itself with hot healing springs with high content of iron, magnesium, calcium and hydrogen carbonates. Springs are suitable for people suffering from disorders of the back, movement apparatus, gynaecological and rheumatic problems. Drinking treatment with healing water from the springs is interesting. It is recommended in case of stomach and gynaecological problems or as prevention.
However, Bükfürdő is also an ideal place for family recreation, network of hotels offers a wide range of services: from treatment programs, through sport up to leisure time activities. The most important part of each hotel are pools with thermal water. There is a total of 26 pools with area of 5000 m2.
The lowland is suitable for cycling and spa hotels offer many sport activities for people of various ages and interests. Bükfürdő is a place suitable for anyone. People who like quiet will enjoy long walks in the nature, the younger will find evening parties in hotels. There are courts, playgrounds and pools with slides prepared for children in many hotels.
