Medical Spa Tapolca
Tapolca is a popular spa centre situated approximately 12 km from the western shore of Balaton lake, near to the picturesque town Szigliget. The original Slovan name means "warm water". The town breathes with the unique atmosphere of former volcanoes, surrounding wineyards as well as rich culture. It is known especially thanks to its carst healing caves. There is a bored carst water cave situated under the town Tapolca, which was discovered by accident in 1903. It serves as a tourist attraction - rowing boats underground, as well as wine cellar.
