Piestany is a resort to which always it would be desirable to return. All is pleasant: Spa island, hotels, procedures and, of course, people. One afflicts - holiday comes to an end quickly.

Acceptable 3 star hotel. Very nice pool.
Service was terrible. Felt like we were still in a communist economy. How will your hotel survive when all the old people who use it die in the next ten years.
Massage was nice. Other treatments were useless and a waste of time.

I had a wonderful time at the Danubius Aqua in Heviz. The best thing about my stay was the staff -- I do not speak Hungarian or German, only English -- and despite my ability to communicate through words, they were patient, and kind, and caring, and made me feel as thought I was a welcome member of the Aqua family. The treatments and food were spectacular as well. I miss my time there greatly, and think about it every single day. |

The best in my stay was combination of spa-treatments and active fitness especially jogging. They have special running track around the island health-giving for joints of your body. The hotel's good location, affable stuff, variety of pleasant treatments, swimming-pools with thermal and ordinary water, jacuzzi, saunas make your rest successful. |

I can say that the people were helpfull everywhere,whether it was in the restaurants or in the stores.The Slovaks seem to have a cheerfull disposition and difficulties to communicate are overcome with broad smiles and laughter.I hope to come back there some day soon.The only thing that is a bit of a disappointment is that Hotel Park is not connected to the Hotmineralwater.But the med. staff is very good and Dr.Viera Vlckova gave much appreciated advice.As a matter of fact I heard from patients of other spas on the island of insuficient med.advice or hardly any. For the weather I won't make anyone responsible especially since it was more springlike there than anywherelse in Europe.The food was good and plentyfull so was wine and beer and what low prices.So I left always generous tips,no wonder I was always asked to come back.Just loved the people and the new Art Center in Bratislava.Saw The sleeping beauty ballet enjoyed it very much.

Spirit Hotel is really an oasis. Also the dinner is high quality. Only the treatment like muds are not so professional like I found the previous years in Danubius Health - Heviz. |
