Jarmila S., - Bojnice, Hotel Kaskáda ****, Stay: Wellness stay for 3 nights, 30.03.2008 (Translation) Things like dust on the bedside table, holes in the sheets, dirty floor in the bathroom shouldn´t happen in the 4-star hotel. However, the staff especially at the reception desk were very helpful. We had been before in Piestany and if I could compare the approach here, it was not very good. For example, when we had a booking for whirlpool bath or massages, and we were there on time, there were too many people waiting for it and we had to wait for a long time. In Piestany, when I wanted to help my mum into the buth tub, they told me that they would look after it because it is there duty. And finally, I personally like a lot of greenery around, but the surrounding of the hotel looked quite empty. I would personally appreciated nicer surrounding around the hotel. It looks as if they started work around the hotel, but they haven´t finished it. However, we can say that we were quite satisfied.

The aquacentre was too small and few procedures. There were not enough staff but on the other hand, they were all very nice. I was disappointed with totally unprofessional approach of the director who solved internal matters with the staff at the reception desk. He was shouting all the time and didn´t relize that hotel guests had come there to relax. Next time I will probably choose a different hotel.
Peter T., - Bojnice, Hotel Kaskáda ****, Stay: Wellness stay for 4 nights, 24.03.2008 (Translation) We were satisfied with the accommodation which was above standard as the space is concerned, the meals were good although we would appreciate bigger choice (there were only two non-meat meals on the menu). The procedures were sufficient, the staff were nice and capable. The whole quite positive impression was spoilt only by limited space as the pool was concerned and not enough deckchairs. As there was access also for other people to come, not only for hotel guests, there was little space and quite a lot of noise (especially made by a lot of children), which wasn´t very relaxing. This made a little bit negative influence, but on the whole we liked our stay.

Sometimes there wasn´t hot water and this resulted in the problem with bath tubs and there was a little bit of chaos sometime. For example, sometimes it happened that there were too procedures scheduled for the same hour or two families were ordered for the same hour, but fortunately, we were lucky to get all the desired procedures. On the other hand, the massages were very good and the pool was OK. There should be somebody who would be responsible for ordering and managing the procedures. Obviously, during the year there are not so many guests at one time. If I could compare this with the situation in Máj Hotel, the procedures there were on higher level in spite of the fact that it doesn´t have so many stars.
Juliana D., - Bojnice, Hotel Kaskáda ****, Stay: Weekend wellness stay, 02.03.2008 (Translation) We got no information when we came. We handed over our identity cards, we were given the keys and that was all. They also took our accommodation order and so we did not know what was included in the price as we had not checked before. The suppers were tasty but not light non-meat meals except for one meal, not counting fried cheese. In the price of the meal was included drink for 37 Slovak crowns and in chilling cabinet there was small bottles of Cappy which cost about 20-25 crowns in common restaurants. I don´t know if this is fair. Breakfasts were OK, delicious coffee, maybe some vegetable salads would be also suitable, not only sliced vegetable. As it rained a lot during our stay, we often watched TV and I would have appreciated more programmes (e.g. Chech TV or some other Slovak programmes), not only STV1, STV2, TV JOJ and Markíza. Although there were about 300 programmes but only in foreign languages. I was really impressed by our masseuse Milka, who is a real treasure and gives you both physical and mental wellbeing. I hope I wasn´t too critical, but I might have given you some suggestions.
Katarína M., - Bojnice, Hotel Kaskáda ****, Stay: Weekend Stay, 02.12.2007 (Translation) On the whole, the stay was very pleasant relaxation in a nice environment. The hotel room equipment was very nice, serviceable and clean. The food was very tasty. Regarding staff, I think that the hotel had incredible luck. I can judge that as I have experience of providing staff for spa facilities and know how difficult it is to get qualified people for all positions in such a facility. The chefs performed something really unusual - in a good way. The waiters were very pleasant and helpful. At Reception - very pleasant and helpful receptionists (apart from Sunday when we were leaving, but I have to say that the lady was not actually unpleasant). In the Aquacentre, there was a very pleasant and talented masseur (Mrs Milka), the other one was less communicative to clients and her massage wasn't as exceptional as Milka's. On the whole, I evaluate our stay as a very, very nice and pleasant experience, full of relaxation and luxury. I have to state my admiration for the hotel management for exceptional staff since such services are based mainly on the approach by the staff to the customer. I thank you very much for the complete service during arrangement of the stay. From now on, we will regularly contact you and I will recommend you to all our friends who need to relax.

The programme was also interesting. We liked the procedures, however my boyfriend wasn't very happy with the masseur's approach, she was only temporary, couldn't communicate and he didn't like the massage either as it didn't meet his expectations. On the other hand, I was very happy with the masseur as she was very kind, talkative and the time with her passed quickly; the quality of the massage was excellent. However, thanks to you, we have definitely had a lovely weekend. The town of Bojnice is beautiful, there are many opportunities for trips or to simply relax. Thank you. We slightly disliked the odour in the bathroom (probably drainage) - it wasn't pleasant. Maybe it would be good to inform visitors in advance that the hotel will be hosting a celebration, e.g. wedding. We didn't mind as we couldn't hear it, but I don't know what it was like in other rooms. It would also be helpful to inform guests regarding smoking and non-smoking rooms. We got a smoking room and we are non-smokers. The stay really was OK, the stated information should only be used for ideas to improve the services provided. Thank you.

They liked it very much. The procedures were excellent, they really relaxed. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are nicely furnished. They also highly praised the food, the portions were huge and they weren't able to eat them. The staff were also of a high standard.

I have one remark only to the TV programmes, because to provide services on such high level and to have in TV-set only access to programmes STV 1, 2, Markiza and JOJ is too little nowadays. There are missing Czech programmes, and even if there is a satellite, a lot of programmes are encoded. This is the only remark to the quality of services. I will try to use the services of hotel Kaskady also in the future for sure.
