We got the family room with 4 beds, but we needed only 2 beds and baby bed, which we didn´t get. Our baby had to sleep on the floor, because she could fall from a usual bed.
The hotel is nice, the town is nice, but this thing was difficult to us. Tatiana P., - Dunajská Streda, Hotel Therma ****, Stay: On-trial Japanese bath, 03.08.2008 (Translation)hello, I would expect different quality of services in a 4-star hotel. for example, hot water in the bathroom should be available non-stop and not only at 20-minute intervals. the food from supper shouldn´t turn up for breakfast, in the bar which should be open till 2:00 a.m., people shouldn´t be thrown out before twelve and so on ... not mentioning insect in the room. it is a problem of the hotel and not yours. but I wouldn´t recommend it for wellness weekend stay. last but not least, the hotel location in the industrial part of the town is not suitable for relaxation because at six o´clock in the morning there was a lot of noise from the nearby workshops. The only thing which annoyed us was the fact that we had to chase waiters for service. Sometimes it was really difficult to find one. And it wasn´t ideal with other services in the dining hall either (like clearing the tables). But I have to say that it depended also on the shift in service. As far as the accommodation is concerned, I missed air-conditioning in the room but this is supposed to change in the near future - as we were told at the reception. The environment of the hotel is very nice, and the Japanese garden and outdoor sitting place ... like a fairy tale! Thank you for arranging the stay and I wish you a lot of satisfied customers. The staff are so pleasant but I couldn´t manage to work there every day for so many hours. Bonbon Hotel is OK although bathrooms realy need to be renovated. In the mini-bar there was only a bottle of mineral water, a bottle of bear and a small bottle of something. The fitness centre wasn´t very well equipped, there were only 4 fitness machines and one of them was not working. And another important thing I would like to point out is that clients should be informed beforehand that there is only steam sauna in the hotel. All other things were Ok, sufficient and good meals, nice staff. The room was nicely furnished, neat and clean. The bathroom was also OK. As the food is concerned, we can speak only about the quality of breakfast as we didn´t have other meals and everything was OK. Everybody could choose what he or she liked. The only negative experience was on the first day of our stay when we came for the breakfast and there were almost nothing to choose from. Maybe the staff didn´t have enough time to refill the tables. The next day, everything was different. The pool was clean, big enough to swimm in. We haven´t been to sauna and we didn´t have any procedures. The staff were nice, except for the people working at the reception desk. But on the whole, the stay was really pleasant. Maybe we will come back some time but first we have decided to try some other stays, other places. With regards | |
