Krakovany is a village in Slovakia approximately 5 km westward from the town Piešťany. The current village consists of the former separate villages Krakovany and Stráže. Krakovany preserve also today their agricultural style with prevailing growth of grain and feed grains. The social life in the village has also deep roots. Very strong associations of amateur theatre or brass bands have been created here.
