Mojmírovce

Village Mojmírovce is situated on Nitra plateau, which forms part of the Danube Lowland. The village is 14 km far from city Nitra. It is a typical countryside village with developed agricultural production. It lies in Urmínska basin at Cedron stream, with hills of Nitrianska kopcovina spreading on both sides. The centre of the village lies at the altitude 140 m. The highest altitude is 179 m on Časárovská mountain. The lowest place is at the bridge on Kápoň with altitude 126 m. Climatic conditions are dependent on latitude, altitude and exposure of the terrain.
