I called the hotel three days before the beginning of our stay and I was told that they couldn´t give us this info! It´s a pity! Apart from this we were very satisfied. The quality of accommodation depends also on the location of the room and its size as there are differences. Next time I would like to ask for a concrete room if it is possible.

However, there were some negatives: - the room No 425 has small roof windows high above the ground - in case of the fire, the evacuacion would not be possible. That´s why we don´t want to be accommodated in any of these rooms again. The air-conditioning wasn´t working and probably it was in a bad state and not maintainted properly. If we stayed there during summer, we can imagine that it would be unbearable.

Of course, it was sufficient for my in-laws as they modest people. The amount of money I paid was higher than the standard received. In better hotels, there should be adequate services and catering and a nice hotel is a certainty. My mother in law has been on the toilet since Saturday and now she's in the department for infections in the hospital. I had to get in the car in Bratislava and drive to collect them from Rajecke Teplice. When I got there, the man in the car park didn't let me through the gate to the hotel with my car. Reception confirmed that this is not a problem so I went back and he was rude and only after my aggressive response, he let me in and he didn't forget to give me an order to put them in the car and leave! There are no quality hotels in Slovakia, maybe 2 or 3 but Afrodita is definitely not amongst them. I feel sorry for the company who invested in the gigantic refurbishment.

We only had a problem with the heating (at the beginning it was unheated and they it was too hot - the heating thermostat in the room was missing). After pointing out the problem, it was immediately fixed. Thank you very much. The breakfast staff were slightly slow. After guests leaving, they didn't have enough time to prepare the tables for other visitors, so we didn't know where to sit, where was free and where wasn't.

Therefore, it's a great pity that the food was of such poor quality. You can just about choose something for breakfast, but the dinners were really inedible. It was literally low quality, fast food catering. Pity! However, it must be said the restaurant staff were very willing and kind. Sitting in the cafe was very pleasant, the coffee was tasty adn the staff were kind. Fortunately, we finally found a restaurant opposite and the food there was a great experience...although we had to pay for it :) I evaluate the accommodation as 8/10. The room wasn't bad, however the lighting was not well thought out. The lamp for reading or working was not at the table or in the television room, so after 4pm, I sat at my laptop in the dark :)

She was very satisfied in general with the stay and she had remarks only to three thinks: 1. process of accommodation, resp. booking in to the stay is very ineffective. The reception desk does not catch this. One worker at the reception desk needed almost 20 minutes for one client - and he wanted only pay for the stay. 2. in the lodging part, where a not stable floor is, every movement is very disturbing - it can be heard. 3. Social life - in this area she missed some social programme. Otherwise she was more than satisfied. I believe, that I will use the services of your agency in the future again.

We expected consultations with a specialist and scheduling of food and treatments "made-to-measure". Unfortunately, our expectations were not fulfilled. We found out at the end, that the system of the slimming stay does function like a scheme, it means equally for everyone and additionally it repeated every week. In this field I would expect from such facility of such character and for such price an individual approach. And one more recommendation - more smiling and willingness.

I would like to underline the general satisfaction with your services and also with services in spa Rajecke Teplice. However us foreigners (French) after arrival to the hotel "cooled-down": 1) lassitude of the reception desk staff, who let us in their presence waiting - even if there were no other guests at the reception desk in that time - without looking at us, and till after good 2-3 minutes without usual basic welcome and greeting forms, they explained us with a cold face, that we must wait because one of both reception desk workers had a phone call... The other one was looking at her all along. 2) The staff on treatments, as well as on reception desk, does not know the term "smile" at all, neither its realisation. Because the majority of the hotel guests are from abroad, I take this feature as very negative. 3) In addition only a few of them are able to speak at least minimal in an other language then Slovak. And so happened, that the masseur, who should massage my niece (by the way at first time on massage in life), he word for word scamped his work, he did not understand, what does she saying him in English and in German language, but he ran a massive conversation in Slovak language all along with an another - nobody knows why present - young girl. This I absolute do not consider as normal. The staff in restaurant was on level and very kind, smiling, there was not a feeling to tease someone with your presence, the same I can say regarding chamber-maids, very willing and kind. The food was very good. Except of the above mentioned thinks, we relaxed excellent - this was the purpose of this stay, there is nice there and I recommend it to other friends. I do not exclude a return to this spa.

Negative: in the framework of the curative stay we had to undertake 2 medical examinations. We undertook only one, significant formal one, which affected rather as altogether unnecessary. The physician prescribed for us, for example, in framework of treatments also pool for 2 hours, however we had the entrance into pool available at any time (it was in price of our stay included). This matter of fact we claimed at the reception desk, so we did not get new treatments in addition, but we got increased the number of them, which were already prescribed the physician. - In the framework of whirlpool treatment - (whirlpool for 6 persons) - we were in pool with an old hardly walking person, who had evident also other problems. We did see the staff during the treatment not once and also by outgoing from the tub (it was very hard for him) my husband helped him. Please, do not understand it wrong. He helped the old man with pleasure. However, I think, that also from the hygienic aspect, he had to have a separate tub prescribed. I add only, that except of adult persons, there was in the tub an about 10 years old girl.

For native people this is for sure not a problem. But if a tourist from abroad comes, like in case of an Egyptian tourist, who visited Rajecke Teplice in the same time like me, then in better case it evokes a merciful smile in his face, in worst case embitterment, because without an English speaking "guide", he is not able to make oneself understood in the whole complex.
