The weekend stay in Tatranska Javorina - accommodation, catering, serving personnel were excellent. The only fault - on the date of arrival, 8 May 2008, there was a young receptionist at the hotel reception who didn't have any idea which services we had paid for; at our question as to when we could go for a massage, she answered that the masseur was not available at the moment and he would come on Saturday. This was all the information she provided us with. We were unpleasantly surprised that we had paid for procedures and didn't get any. On the second day, another receptionist was working and she explained everything to us, although the masseur wasn't there but we got a hydro-massage bath instead, then a sauna and Jacuzzi. It was an excellent way to relax, the hotel was beautiful, the restaurant staff were very pleasant. The only complaint is about the young receptionist who really had no interest in informing us about anything. Also, it would be suitable to place some information boards in Water World so people can somehow orientate themselves. In comparison with our stay in Hotel Maj in Piestany, the hotel was at a much lower standard but the information was of a higher standard.

Services of KOLOWRAT Hotel fully met our requirements. However, there were some negative points: 1.)Room 502 - no access to Internet although according to the advertising folder all the rooms should have been provided with it. 2.)Garage parking was too expensive - 205 Sk per day. The staff were excellent, friendly and competent.

The environment was beautiful, the hotel pleasant. The best staff were in the hotel restaurant and bar, Mr P served us, we were 100% satisfied with his services. Everyone at the reception were helpful and willing. We were least satisfied with procedures, only one type of massage is available, regarding staff, we felt that we bothered them with our questions and requirements, they didn't even try to offer other procedures to us, one had to ask for everything to actually find out what was available. Plus, comments like "a person is alone here for everything and have to do everything in time" we considered as unsuitable for clients to hear ... Plus, we stayed in the hotel outside of the main season. Basically, the Wellness part was clean and nice apart from one non-functional shower and the cooling pool could do with a change of water more regularly. If I summarise it, the hotel was above Slovak standards. Thank you and we look forward to another stay with your company.

Hello, HOTEL KOLOWRAT - basically everything was okay, but the hotel doesn't have enough staff, the waiters struggled, the lady in the wellness centre was alone and she couldn't do other activities as well as massages. And one more thing - the gym wasn't sufficiently equipped. That's about it.
