All the prescribed procedures are recorded in the Card of Procedures which contains also the exact timetable It is possible to buy additional relaxation procedures and services right on the spot. It is advisable to book the procedures in our travel agency already while booking the stay. When necessary we can provide the transfer from bus or train station, or from the airport. Transfer is necessary to be booked in advance while booking the stay. Local fee is not included in the price of the stay, the hotel will charge the fee in cash after your arrival. Height of local tax per person per day: 0.50 eur

As the board concerns, we would prefer half board, or full board with a choice of different meals (3-5) with different prices. We were not satisfied with one young waiter who was not able to give us information about the menu. Who else should the guest ask about it if not the waiter? We can hardly get into the kitchen to ask the cook?????
Stanislava M., - Vysne Ruzbachy, Grand Hotel STRAND ****, Stay: Accommodation With Breakfast, 18.05.2008 (Translation) I would like to say especially that procedures and swimming pool were not available on the ground floor of the hotel because it was being reconstructed at the moment, but we found that out only after the arrival at the hotel. Instead, we could use the pool at balneotherapy, but unfortunately, only in the afternoon, which was very interesting as we had a child with us and not possibility of having any procedures. Furthermore, we could use the swimming pool on Sunday (the day of our departure) only after 1pm, but we had to check out of the hotel by 10am (finally we were allowed to stay by 11am) - I have to complain about not being given this important info before and I am not going to find out whether it was the fault of the hotel or the travel agency.
P.S. At the reception they wanted to offer us a compensation in the form of some extra procedures or a discount, but this was possible only after discussing this problem with the director. Unfortunately, they were not able to do so during the next three days (in my case); I don´t know how this problem was solved in other cases. Thank you for your attention. The statement of the spa: We would like to apologize to Mr.M for any inconvenience during his stay in Grand Hotel Strand**** from May 15 to May 18, 2008. The pool Izabela in Grand Hotel Strand**** was closed for technical reasons from May 12 to May 18, 2008. As a compensation for the inconvenience caused by this fact during the stay of Mr.M´s family in Grand Hotel Strand**** from May 15 – to May 18, 2008 we confirm 10%-discount.
