Breakfast was served in White house, not in Strand hotel as it is advertised! The indoor pool was nice and clean, outdoor pool was emptied, wellness centre was good for smaller number of people. In general, good services and beautiful surroundings. Of the 14 people accommodated there, noone had any complaints, only about the noise in the rooms, but this depends on the neighbours. Everything went well, thank you, it was a beautiful week. Stanislava M., - Vysne Ruzbachy, Grand Hotel STRAND ****, Stay: Accommodation With Breakfast, 18.05.2008 (Translation)I would like to say especially that procedures and swimming pool were not available on the ground floor of the hotel because it was being reconstructed at the moment, but we found that out only after the arrival at the hotel. Instead, we could use the pool at balneotherapy, but unfortunately, only in the afternoon, which was very interesting as we had a child with us and not possibility of having any procedures. Furthermore, we could use the swimming pool on Sunday (the day of our departure) only after 1pm, but we had to check out of the hotel by 10am (finally we were allowed to stay by 11am) - I have to complain about not being given this important info before and I am not going to find out whether it was the fault of the hotel or the travel agency.
P.S. At the reception they wanted to offer us a compensation in the form of some extra procedures or a discount, but this was possible only after discussing this problem with the director. Unfortunately, they were not able to do so during the next three days (in my case); I don´t know how this problem was solved in other cases. Thank you for your attention. The statement of the spa: We would like to apologize to Mr.M for any inconvenience during his stay in Grand Hotel Strand**** from May 15 to May 18, 2008. The pool Izabela in Grand Hotel Strand**** was closed for technical reasons from May 12 to May 18, 2008. As a compensation for the inconvenience caused by this fact during the stay of Mr.M´s family in Grand Hotel Strand**** from May 15 – to May 18, 2008 we confirm 10%-discount. The services of the Grand hotel and Izabela pool were on a very good level. We have some comments on the accommodation in the Swiss houses. There were no glasses, one side of the shower was broken and the carpet in the room wasn´t clean. Everything else was ok, including the food and the services of the pool and the wellness centre. I hove to come back to Ru¾bachy again because we were quite satisfied and we had a nice rest. We would like to thank you once more for the pleasant stay. What we liked most were the services of Izabela pool and Grand hotel Strand. There were some problems about the accommodation as the floor and bathrooms weren´t quite clean. Particularly - we had to collect the keys for the Swiss houses from the healing house, not as stated - Hotel Strand. Musical Evening - you state The White House. The Musical Evening takes place there now - Thursday. Sunday, double bed - in the Swiss houses, such rooms do not exist. We missed evenings with music. These are small errors which, however, lead to dissatisfaction. However, during our stay, everything met the required quality. Mainly catering in the form of a buffet and Wellness services were fully satisfactory, as well as hotel personnel. However, some people working at the reception desk should be more friendly to all the clients (but we don´t pay for the smile, I know) and not only to foreing visitors. We would appreciate also to include possibilities of train or bus connections to the place in the offers of the Travel agency. Even if you were intrested in choosing some massages when booking the stay, it wasn´t possible to do so in advance or purchse them later. The back massage was only symbolic. I recommend increasing number of healing procedures during weekends, perhaps even beautifying procedures. | |
