Natur Sights in Lendava The nature did favour to Lendava very well. Lendava is surrounded by wine-growing hills, wide Pannonian plain, creeks and rivers. A right place for nature lovers.
Vineyards of Lendava are spread between creek "Kobiljski potok", river Krka and river Lendava, along the road from Dolga vas, through Lendava to the village Pince on the border with Hungary. This vineyard area is 9 km long, 489 ha large and 265 to 328 m high.
The creek Črnec rises in the north-west part of the Mura region. Črnec meets the river Lendava in town. The creek Črnec is a curiosity, because no sewage water is let in it.
Between the ploughland there are smaller or larger islands, and there, where the effects of drying up were not too drastic, there are still many rare plants.
