GOLF COURSE LIVADA MORAVSKE TOPLICE
The main purpose for building of the playground GOLF Livada MORAVSKE TOPLICE in the tourist centre TERME 3000 MORAVSKE TOPLICE was to offer guests a tourist golf course, and to the players environmentally friendly, safe, interesting and neat golf course.
After the opening of the first part of the playground and the complete practice ground in the autumn of 1998 (project: Mr. M. Božič) the playground with all 18 holes was finally opened in its entirety in the spring of 2005 (projects: Mr. D. Bencik). The golf course sprawls on more than 50 ha of surface and like some green park surrounds the whole tourist place. It offers a lot of enjoyment to the beginners as well as experienced golfers.
After the hole Nr. 1, which is the easiest and thus most suitable for the right kind of start, golfers meet face to face with a whole array of water obstacles, vast fields, intricately shaped greens and difficult sand pits. Surely most fascinating as far as thrills and challenge are concerned is the hole Nr. 9 measuring almost 600 m in length – the longest Slovenian hole! We offer to amateur golfers attractive holiday programmes including golf, organization of tournaments and meetings, golf classes, membership in the Golf club Moravske Toplice, a chance of playing on other golf courses.
