Galvanotherapy
Galvanotherapy (sometimes also called hydro-galvanic bath or two- or four-chamber bath) is whole body or partial influence of a galvanic (direct) current upon the client under the surface of the water. This current through the tissue triggers active hyperaemia, improves metabolism of tissues, shrinks oedemas and exudates, pain relief. Indications: all painful states of the movement system (of an injury, inflammation or functional origin), diabetic polyneuropathy, blood circulatory disorders of the limbs, disorders of innervation - paresis, acute post injury states.
