Alternative treading bath is a partial bath.
Two small tubs are used - one with warm water (40° - 46° - 50°C) and the other one with cold water (10° - 16°C). The tubs can be filled with small stones - they do a soft foot massage. At the beginning of the procedure, the client steps into the warm water bath and there he/she treads water for 1 minute. Then he/she steps into the cold water bath and treads water for 15 seconds. And then back to warm water.
This repeats 6 – 10 times. The procedure is prescribed with maximum regard to the client's health condition, reactivity to impulses and his/her mental comfort.Alternative treading bath is a partial bath.
