During this procedure, warm mud wrap with peat mixture is applied locally on the body.
It is prepared in three layers - the first one is a woollen blanket, second one is a waterproof blanket and the third one is a cotton sheet, which is then covered with peloid with the temperature of 38 – 48 ° C, the layer is ca 5 cm thick.
The peloid wrap lasts for 15 - 30 minutes, subsequently the place where the peloid has been applied is covered with a cotton towel and a warm blanket and is left to rest for about 20 - 30 minutes.
