In the salt steam sauna (sometimes called also salt steam grotto)is very high humidity (up to 100%) but the temperature is lower than in Finnish sauna (only ca. 40-45°C). The salt steam is especially beneficial for airways; they clean the body and support blood circulation. This procedure is most recommended for respiratory diseases, asthma bronchiale, lung diseases, chronic bronchitis, sinusitis, and respiratory allergies both in adults and children.
