Breathing training

Guided breathing exercises supervised by a physiotherapist, performed individually or in a group. The client learns a correct breathing pattern, diaphragmatic breathing and techniques for clearing mucus from the airways.
The exercises strengthen the respiratory muscles and the diaphragm, increase chest mobility and lung ventilation, improve oxygenation of the body and reduce the feeling of breathlessness. They also correct posture, which is closely linked to breathing.
Indications: conditions after COVID-19, states after pneumonia, chronic bronchitis, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, allergic respiratory diseases, reduced physical fitness and breathlessness on exertion, poor posture
Contraindications: acute febrile and infectious diseases, severe respiratory insufficiency, unstable cardiovascular disease, pneumothorax, coughing up blood
